Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Who we are and the scope of this policy
Honey Badger Game Studios Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16714062. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
This policy covers PizzaCutter: Pure ASMR (Pizza Cutter), provided by Honey Badger Game Studios Ltd, and support enquiries relating to the game. It is published on our website so players can access it. It does not cover browsing data processed by the website hosting platform. Other games will have their own notice or will explicitly link to a version of this policy that describes their practices.
We are the controller of personal information we process for purposes we determine, including responding to support enquiries. Service providers and app stores may also process information under their own notices and contractual roles.
Contact us at info@honeybadgergamestudios.com for privacy questions or requests.
2. Information handled in Pizza Cutter
Local game data
Game progress, coin balances, unlocked items and settings are stored locally on your device. Local storage does not itself mean that we receive that information. Clearing app data, resetting progress or uninstalling the game may remove local saves. Device backup services may handle app data according to your device settings and their own policies. We do not promise that local saves are encrypted or recoverable.
Advertising data
Pizza Cutter uses Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to display interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. Depending on the platform, SDK version, consent choices and configuration, the SDK may collect or process:
- IP addresses, which can be used to estimate general location;
- advertising identifiers and other device or app identifiers;
- information about interactions with the app and advertisements;
- diagnostic information, including crash logs and performance information.
These identifiers are not necessarily anonymous. This information supports ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and operation of the advertising service. Personalised advertising depends on applicable permissions, consent and configuration. Non-personalised or limited advertisements may still involve data processing; declining personalisation does not necessarily stop all advertising or all data processing.
Google and advertising partners disclosed through the applicable consent message may receive advertising-related information. See Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from services that use its technology, and Google Mobile Ads Unity data disclosures.
Purchases
Coin packs and a Remove Ads upgrade are planned features and are not yet available in the current development version. When purchases are enabled, the following applies to the relevant Google Play or Apple App Store version. The store handles payment information under its own policies; we do not receive your full payment card details. The game and its purchase integration may process product identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens and purchase status to provide or restore purchased features. If you request purchase support, we may receive the order reference or receipt you send us. Please do not send card numbers or passwords.
3. Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information or attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, investigate problems and manage requests.
Providing support information is voluntary, but without an email address and sufficient details we may be unable to answer or resolve your enquiry. We do not use support correspondence to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, the relevant bases for our processing are:
- Contract: providing purchased digital items and features, and handling related service requests where necessary to perform our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: answering general enquiries, troubleshooting, protecting our services and preventing abuse, subject to your rights and interests.
- Consent: advertising personalisation and device access or tracking where consent is required. Consent can be withdrawn as described below.
- Legal obligation: responding to legally binding requests and keeping records required by applicable law.
Different providers may have their own purposes and legal bases. Their notices and the applicable consent message explain their processing.
5. Privacy choices and advertising permissions
The game integrates Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present advertising choices where required. Advertising must not be requested until the SDK permits it; a permitted ad request does not itself mean that you agreed to personalised advertising. When the SDK indicates that a privacy options entry point is required, you can reopen it through Settings → Privacy Options in the game. Updating your choice affects subsequent processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Your operating system may offer additional controls over advertising identifiers and app tracking. On Apple devices, any tracking requiring App Tracking Transparency permission is subject to that separate permission.
The Remove Ads purchase changes which advertisements are displayed as described on the purchase screen; purchasing it is not itself a privacy consent decision.
6. Sharing and international processing
Information may be handled by Google AdMob and the advertising partners identified in the applicable consent message, the relevant app store when purchases are available, the email provider used to handle support correspondence, and professional advisers where necessary. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights. Any business transfer involving personal information will be subject to applicable legal requirements.
Google may process advertising information on servers in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Google explains its applicable transfer frameworks and safeguards, including adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses, at https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks. These are Google's mechanisms, not a claim that we have independently entered into every mechanism it describes. For information about processing or transfers associated with a support enquiry, contact info@honeybadgergamestudios.com. Any restricted transfer we arrange must meet the applicable legal requirements.
7. Retention and security
Local game data remains on your device until it is removed through the game, device controls or uninstalling, subject to any device backups. We cannot remotely erase local data from your device.
We retain support correspondence while an enquiry is open and while the correspondence remains necessary to resolve follow-up questions about the same issue. Once those purposes have ended, it is deleted unless it is needed for an outstanding complaint, legal claim or a specific legal record-keeping obligation. Records retained for those reasons are limited to what is needed and kept until the relevant obligation or dispute ends. Google and, when purchases are available, the app stores determine retention for information they process under their own policies.
We use appropriate measures for personal information under our control. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and withdraw consent. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Right to object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Email info@honeybadgergamestudios.com to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify it, without requesting unnecessary sensitive information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we cannot identify information held about you, we will explain that limitation rather than collecting new identifying data unnecessarily.
You may complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office or your competent local supervisory authority. Applicable US state privacy rights may include access, deletion, correction and opting out of certain targeted advertising or sale/sharing as those terms are defined by law. Where applicable, use Privacy Options or contact us. We do not describe advertising-related disclosures as exempt from those rules merely because we do not sell information for money.
9. Children
Pizza Cutter is intended for teenagers and adults and is not specifically designed or marketed to young children. Store content ratings describe content suitability and do not determine eligibility for personalised advertising or consent. This audience statement does not replace any protections required by applicable law or store policy. If we learn that we have received personal information from a child in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. Parents and guardians can contact info@honeybadgergamestudios.com with concerns.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or request fresh consent where required. A policy update does not itself authorise a new purpose for processing that requires consent.
